PRODUCTS FOR AIR HANDLING UNITS

1. DROPLET SEPARATOR F SERIES

The F10 droplet separator is employed where the air velocity is between
3 and 6 m/s ( with a water to air ratio of 1 l/m3 ).
The standard blade spacing is 25 mm.
At high water loadings(water / air ratio of 1,5 l/m3) or in un favourable flow conditions(from6 to 8 m/s ), this spacing can be reduced to 20 mm.
At even higher water loading it is advisable to employ two layers of blades, closely fitted in series, to avoid the drift of secondary droplets.
The droplet eliminator is produced by the extrusion of high quality polypropylene and alternatively PVC or Aluminium.

The F33 droplet separator is employed wherethe air face velocity is between 2 m/s and 5 m/s and for a low water/air ratio.
The design blade spacing of this eliminator is 33 mm, thus permitting an interesting saving in the quantity of profiles used for a given coil cross- section.
The droplet eliminator is produced by the extrusion of high quality polypropylene.

The F20 droplet separator is employed where the air face velocity is between 1 and 4 m/s.
Thanks to its geometrical form, it removes even the fine droplets at low air face velocity.
The three changes of flow direction, combined with the three lips permit a high water to air ratio (2 l/m3).
The design blade spacing of this eliminator is 25 mm.
The droplet eliminator is produced by the extrusion of high quality polypropylene.

The F40 droplet separator is employed where the air face velocity is between 2,5 m/s and 4 m/s and for a low water/air ratio ( 0,3 l/m3 ). The design blade spacing of this eliminator is 25 mm.
The droplet eliminator is produced by the extrusion of high quality polypropylene.

2. HUMIDIFICATION PADS

The SANIFLOC humidification pad has been designed for the humidification sections of air handling units and for adiabatic coolers:
it is produced by the overlaying and gluing of PVC formed sheets, treated with fibres.

The use of this type of humidification pad offers several advantages in comparison to traditional models, the principal of which are:
• The form and the amplitude of the corrugations render much slower the block age of the packing by deposition and scaling and facilitate its inspection for periodic checks.
• The absence of resins from the manufacture of the panels ensures the absence of related odours.
• Thanks to the resistant nature of the relatively inert materials employed in the production of the SANIFLOC panel, the end-user is able to made use of well-treated water in the installation and chemicals for maintenance washes.

The EUROPAD is made from absorbent cellulose sheet simpregnated of resin that as well as contributing to its consistency and self carrying capacity, protect it from decomposition and inhibit the formation of mould.
The pack is made of corrugated cellulose sheets, crossed and glued together with non toxic adhesive, without phenolicresins.
The working principle is simple, and consists in wetting the entire panel with a suitable...
